Miley Starring in "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" with Demi Moore
A new project has been announced for Miley Cyrus – a movie called “LOL: Laughing Out Loud.” The movie is a remake of a French movie made in 2008, and it is likely that Demi Moore will play Miley’s mom in the movie.
In the film, Miley’s character has been cast off by her boyfriend and decides to pursue his best friend, while at the same time her mother is divorced and is finding it difficult to restart her life as a single lady while trying to maintain a relationship with her daughter.
The new version of the film will be written and directed by the original writer/director of the French film, Lisa Azuelos.

New Man In Miley's Life
There's a new man in Miley Cyrus's life! The Disney starlet was snapped toting a fluffy new pup through West Hollywood this weekend, and on Sunday, she took to her official blog to dish about her new dog, named Mate.
"It's so great that Mate is a puppy so I can take him everywhere," she wrote. "But it won't be long until he's his full size!" A 9-week-old shepherd puppy, Mate could grow up to 125 lbs., which Cyrus jokes will make it "a bit more difficult to fit him in my Prius." The pup was a gift from Cyrus's parents, who wanted her to have a German shepherd, just like dad Billy Ray's pooch, Tex. The singer-actress is already mom to maltipoo Sophie.
Cyrus says Mate "woke [her] up with kisses" on Sunday, and spent time with Billy Ray and Tex before joining her on a shopping trip. Welcome to Hollywood, Mate

Posted on Jan 25, 2010Had an awesome day! Slept in until my puppy Mate woke me up with kisses @ 10:30! I sat outside for an hour drinking coffee with my dad, mate, and his doggy tex! Daddy and I caught up on so much stuff! It was so refreshing to enjoy the LA sun with my papa! After that I got ready and drank MORE coffee with my friend Scott and then met up with our friend Fisher and did some shopping!!! I love WEHO! It was so awesome to take Mate out and about and have a day just chillin with the ones I love! Its so great that Mate is a puppy so I can tae him everywhere but it won’t be long until he’s his full size! He’s a german shepard and will get up to 125 lbs! Ahhh! It’ll be a bit more difficult to fit him in my Prius haha! Now I’m at dinner with my dad, Braison, Noah, and Liam! This day has been the best one in a while! Xoxoxo

Miley Helps Haiti
Teen pop star Miley Cyrus, 17 is reportedly the latest celebrity to join the star-studded Haiti relief single being spear-headed by Simon Cowell. The American Idol judge and British-born music exec is coordinating the recording of the R.E.M. cover "Everybody Hurts." The single will be released to raise funds for the Haiti earthquake relief efforts.
Miley Cyrus joins a growing list of stars who have already agreed to lend their voices to the charity single. Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi, Take That, Michael Bublé, Westlife, Alexandra Burke, James Morrison, Mika and James Blunt will also record their parts for the charity single.Recording for the single has already started. Special technology is being used so artists can record their parts at various times and locations. The recordings will then be blended together for one unified single.
British paper The Sun reports X Factor stars JLS and show judge Cheryl Cole kicked off recording in London on Monday and Leona Lewis hit the studio in LA last night. The effort takes on special meaning for JLS, whose band member, Oritse Williams, lost family in the quake.
There is still no official release date for the single.

Miley - TWLOHA
Miley Cyrus has teamed up with Joaquin Phoenix to prevent suicide. Appearing in a new PSA for TWLOHA (To Write Love on Her Arms), the Disney star teaches the actor how to use Internet to vote for the organization and express support for its $1 million grant application. Pretending that he does not know Cyrus, Phoenix makes her doing Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" to explain her profession.
Later, the video switches to capture Phoenix and Liv Tyler. When Phoenix fails to explain to his ex-girlfriend about the TWLOHA voting, Cyrus once again shows up and teaches her how to log on to the group's website and help the suicide prevention
TWLOHA is a nonprofit organization aimed at helping teens struggling with depression, addiction and thoughts of self-injury or suicide. The money raised by the company will be used to launch tools for prevention and develop an online community for those dealing with suicidal thoughts or coping with a suicide victim. Miley Cyrus' ex Justin Gaston recalls heartbreak
January 23, 2010, (Splash News) - Miley Cyrus' former boyfriend, model Justin Gaston, has opened up on his split with the Hannah Montana star.
The split took place shortly after Miley moved on location to Tybee Island, Georgia for the filming of her upcoming film The Last Song. She later hooked up with her co-star in the film, Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth.
"You can always tell when someone's getting ready to leave you," Justin told E! News, "but you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that's left.
"I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you'll never feel again."
Justin's debut single "Paper Hearts" draws on the anguish of his split with Miley.
Gaston, who has modeled for Kenneth Cole and Guess, met Miley while appearing as a contestant on Nashville star hosted by Miley's father Billy Ray early in 2008.

After HollywoodLife.com ran photos of Miley with a sparkler on her left ring finger, tongues started wagging that she and her 19-year-old Australian hottie
of a Last Song costar, Liam Hemsworth, may be getting hitched.
And a source extremely close to Cyrus tells E! News the moppet is set on being a young bride…
But this is pushing it, even for her.
While the starlet may be saying farewell to Hannah Montana, she’s not quite ready to give up her singleton status. The insider confirms that Miley is not engaged, but she’s “totally in love” and thinks Liam is “the one.” (No offense, Nick Jonas and Justin Gaston!)
And a trip down the aisle may not be all that far off.
Miley sees herself “marrying young,” our source says, “but not at 17.”

For Miley Cyrus, who just turned 17, life is easily divided by fame. There are the 13 years before she was famous, and then there's everything since. BF (Before Fame), sold-out crowds and red-carpet events were the domain of her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, and his achy-breaky heart. "I remember so many times when I was younger being like, Why does Dad sleep so much when he's home from the road?" she says. "Why doesn't Dad want to play? Now I'm starting to get it. When I come home from the road, the first thing I do is grab my baby sister [Noah Lindsey, 10] and hold her for as long as she'll let me."
These days, though, it's all about Miley. Ever since she signed on to play an alter-ego version of herself called Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel four years ago, she has been crazy famous, her adolescence chronicled by the paparazzi, her every tweet dissected—before she deleted her account. (She was fed up with her posts becoming fodder for gossip sites.) "Everything is so dramatic in this world," she says from an ugly little room at a coliseum on Long Island where she's on tour and just finished a sound check. Tonight's show, like all of her performances lately, is sold out.

Miley Cyrus is all set to shake off the alter ego that launched her into superstardom.Cyrus’ blockbuster show Hannah Montana will wrap production forever in 2010, reps for Disney confirmed to the New York Post Friday. The Disney Channel series — about average teen “Miley Stewart” who secretly moonlights as pop star Hannah Montana — begins shooting its fourth season Jan. 18, concluding sometime this summer.
Hannah Montana’s season-three finale, “Is Miley Saying Goodbye?” airs in mid-March, and mirrors the actress-singer’s own growing pains. “It’s one of the things [her character Miley Stewart] has been wrestling with for months,” Disney Channel executive Andy Bonnett tells the Post. “Whether it’s time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl.” (Season four premieres “in late spring,” and will air throughout 2010, Bonnett added.)
In September 2008, Cyrus squashed rumors that she was trying to get fired from the show, telling UsMagazine.com at the time, “I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people.”
Now 17, Cyrus is leaving her show at a high point; it still averages nearly 5 million viewers a week, the Post notes. The maturing star has certainly turned heads over the past year and a half: a half-naked Vanity Fair cover, a stripper-pole performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, a precocious tattoo and countless provocative remarks.
But the star has plenty of other projects to keep her occupied: She headlines the Nicholas Sparks romantic film The Last Song (which premieres in April) and makes a cameo in the Sex and the City sequel, which arrives May 28. “It’s the best job I’ve ever done,” Cyrus said of her appearance in Sex and the city. She has called her burgeoning film career “my main passion.”
