Miley & Billy Ray Cyrus Salute the Troops – With a Surprise
Hannah Montana stars Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus know how to plan a sneak attack: After inviting dozens of military families to fill the studio audience during the March 12 taping of the hit series, they surprised the audience by inviting them to take part in filming a concert scene for the show.
"My dad has always been super involved with the troops so [the producers] always try to find things that are close to our hearts and that we're really involved in," Miley, 17, told PEOPLE.
Adds Billy Ray, 48: "This past December I was in Afghanistan and Iraq and that trip inspired the writers to say let's do an episode to say thank you to the troops."
In between takes, all the kids in the studio audience – many of whom have parents who are deployed – were also given the chance to tape greetings to their moms and dads abroad.
"It's going to be a satellite thing where the troops can see their kids. It's really cool that they're having the opportunity to say hi to a mom or dad they haven't seen in a long time," Miley explains. "I think that's the coolest thing."

Liam Surprised By Miley's Stardom
Cyrus‘ boyfriend Liam Hemsworth didn’t know she was such a big star when they first met.
The Aussie actor — who stars opposite Miley in upcoming movie The Last Song — admits he’s stunned by the press’ reaction to their romance.
“I knew who she was but not to the extent of who she is and how big she was,” said Liam.
“I worked that out in the first day of shooting. I came down and there were 100 fans and 10 photographers on either end of the beach. My life’s a lot different right now.
“It’s such an odd thing for photographers to be following you around and taking photos of you while you eat and walk and shower.”

Hannah Montana - Forever (Promo)
Yesterday, Hannah Montana fans saw a commercial featuring Miley Cyrus assuring them quite simply, “Hannah Montana Forever”.
According to Lalate, this is not a promise of life beyond Season 4, which kicks off this July on the Disney Channel and is reportedly the swan song season for Cyrus and the show.
There seems to be some confusion about the TV spot (see below), but I’m not seeing it, just seems like a rather standard promo for season 4 to me.

Kelly Preston About Playing Miley's Mom In "The Last Song"
Just six months after losing her 16-year-old son Jett last January, Kelly Preston quietly decided to return to work by starring in The Last Song.
She made the decision "because Miley [Cyrus] asked me herself to play her mom," Preston, 47, tells PEOPLE. "I was really moved. It was the perfect movie to sort of get my feet wet."
As they filmed the Nicholas Sparks drama in Tybee Island, Ga., last summer, "Julie Anne [Robinson, the director], Adam [Shankman, the producer] and Miley took such great care of me," says Preston, who brought her daughter Ella Bleu, 9, along for the trip. "They were wonderful with my schedule. I just worked a little bit."
But she spent a lot of time bonding with Cyrus off screen. "We've been friends for awhile," Cyrus told PEOPLE in January. "We got even closer on this movie so it was cool to spend the summer with people you really like.
“I love her so much,” Preston says of her costar. “She’s such a good girl.”

Miley Cyrus Clears Up Rumors About Living With Liam
Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus has come clean and let us knows that she is in a relationship with Liam Hemsworth, but as a new couple out on the scene she's a little perplexed at how quickly the story went from her dating Liam to living with Liam.
Reports from Celebrity Mania say that Miley is quickly nipping that rumor in the bud. When asked about her shacking up with Hemsworth she said:
"No. How would anyone know who lives with me or not? No one's ever been in my house, no one's ever like... no creepers who write in magazines have ever seen my house, ever talked to my parents, ever, like, spoken with my friends. So they have nothing better to do than make up stories. I think they should take their ideas and put them somewhere useful."

Miley: I'm Sick Of Quadruple Threats
Miley Cyrus excerpts from April's Teen Vogue. On giving up music: 'The more I make music that doesn't truly inspire me, the more I feel like I'm blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I'm taking some time off.'
On Liam not singing: 'It's refreshing to work with an actor who isn't also a singer and dancer and musician and artist and this and that. I'm sick of quadruple threats whos do everything when they should stick to one thing.
On what she's working on now: 'I'm working on lots of different films: drama, action, comedy. I like challenges, so I'm doing a little bit of everything.' On taking time off: 'I don't know if you noticed the past few years of my career? I don't really believe in breaks.'

Miley Tells Haters To "Go Get A Hobby!"
Miley Cyrus told KIIS FM Phoenix that she is ready for her 'breakout moment': '[I hope] for the first time people will take me seriously. [If not], I'm ready for the ups and downs. I'm so excited, no-one can take that away from me.
I may not be the best singer in the world, but I don't lip-sync. I'm honest. I'm honest in acting, too, I'm going to choose roles I like. I'm doing what I like. People that are dogging me probably aren't, which is why they're down on me. I want to tell them, 'Go get a hobby!''

Miley & Nicholas Sparks Share A "The Last Song" Love Story
The mega-best-selling author of The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John and Message in a Bottle stands in the aisle of Book Soup, literally and figuratively defending his turf.
“If you look for me, I’m in the fiction section. Romance has its own section,” he says toward the end of a long conversation. Sunshine streams in from Sunset Boulevard. He’s smiling. Hard.
“I don’t write romance novels.” His preferred terminology: “Love stories — it’s a very different genre. I would be rejected if I submitted any of my novels as romance novels.”
Rejection isn’t something he has had to deal with lately. Sparks holds the No. 1 and No. 2 positions on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list with The Last Song, a novel turned movie vehicle for Miley Cyrus, and Dear John, recently released as a movie with Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum.
The Last Song movie, opening March 31, features Cyrus as a morose piano prodigy, reluctantly spending the summer with her estranged, dying father (Greg Kinnear). Cyrus’ real-life boyfriend, Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth, 20, plays a kid who falls for her.
They met on the shoot, which means Sparks is a matchmaker of sorts. When Cyrus joins Sparks in the stacks at Book Soup, he asks about her weekend: “What’d you do for fun? Out with Liam?”
Cyrus smiles widely. “At first, he was working, so I was cute,” she says. “I went and got him coffee, bought him an Elvis CD and went and gave it to him at the photo shoot.”
